Canada Pakistan Business Council is a not-for-profit Canadian organization promoting trade between Canada and Pakistan. Founded in 1983 and recognized by the governments of both Canada and Pakistan,. CPBC prides itself in being a leader and the “GO TO” organisation in connecting business communities and promoting bilateral trade between Canada and Pakistan.

CPBC has organized several trade missions to and from Canada, which have resulted in investments in the sectors of energy, mining, education, healthcare, and consumer and industrial goods.

CPBC’s work has had a direct impact on the trade level between Canada and Pakistan crossing the $1 Billion mark and maintaining that growth. CPBC also actively promotes healthy and vibrant communities, some examples of which include establishing scholarships and adopting schools in Pakistan, helping establish the South Asian Art Gallery at the Royal Ontario Museum, and supporting cultural exchanges between Canada and Pakistan. CPBC is a member of South Asian Business Council Alliance (SABCA), an association formed by various councils of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal, with a mandate to promote Canadian trade with South Asian countries.
