All Pakistan Business Forum (APBF) & Canada Pakistan Business Council (CPBC)
to strengthen Canada Pakistan relations

All Pakistan Business Forum (APBF) and Canada Pakistan Business Council (CPBC) have agreed to collaborate joint initiatives in identify business and joint venture opportunities for the mutual benefit of the business community leading to enhanced trade between Canada and Pakistan.

APBF was formed with an objective to bring Business Leaders, Chambers and Associations on a united platform to endeavor for a strong and prosperous Pakistan with sustainable growth, ensured through effective policies followed in continuity, resulting in better quality of life for the people of Pakistan. APBF makes an effort to seek out and identify enterprising individuals and organizations that may mutually benefit from each other’s’ shared values and efforts.

CPBC established 32 years ago is the “Go To” organization facilitating Trade between Canada and Pakistan with a strong Board of Directors and Advisors representing a large cross-section of the Canadian Community.

APBF recognizes and appreciates the initiative of CPBC to develop a relationship of collaboration and support to the business and trade community of both Pakistan and Canada. APBF understands that CPBC is focused on providing facilitation and networking as well as opportunities of mutual ventures between the people of the two countries.

Similarly the Canadian business will have access to credible partners to do Joint ventures in Pakistan through the forum of APBF. APBF have offered to facilitate the business portion of the proposed forthcoming visit of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shabaz Sharif to Toronto Ontario in the summer of 2015. The Premier of Ontario Kathleen Wynne is also expected to visit Pakistan in 2015 to enhance business and trade between the two provinces.

To serve the above objectives an MOU was signed by the President All Pakistan Business Forum Mr. M. Ibrahim Qureshi and President Canada Pakistan Business Counsel Mr. Samir Dossal. Witnessing the signing amongst others was Senator Salma Ataullahjan; she is the first senator of Pakistani origin serving in the Government of Canada.

The CPBC delegation led by its President is accompanied by Senator Salma Ataullahjan, Dr Shafiq Qaadri, Member Provincial Parliament and businessmen from Canada. This MOU will serve as a landmark in developing trade and economic ties between Pakistan and Canada. The MOU between the two organizations will have an effect of direct investment on project-to-project basis and to Enhance Market access for Pakistani Goods to Canadian markets.
