We are pleased to announce that Canada Pakistan Business Council (CPBC) is organizing a five-day Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Delegation to Pakistan in the week of March 11, 2019.
CPBC is partnering with Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITES (P@SHA) to facilitate meetings, visits, presentations and seminars in various ICT sectors such as ERP/Business Software, AI, Education Software, Video Games while also directly identifying interested parties to meet their Canadian counterparts. CPBC is pleased to acknowledge the support The Canada-Pakistan ICT Forum for their Facilitation.
We’re proud to receive an approval for a grant from Global Affairs Canada for an ICT trade delegation. This is to help Canadian ICT companies to access the international markets.

The last date for receiving applications is February 9, 2019, in order to complete formalities related to travel, logistics and specific meetings.
The companies with the best-fit criteria will be selected subject to first come first served basis. For the selected companies, travel and on-the-ground expenses may be covered up to 50%.
The Delegation is being planned around the LEADERS IN ISLAMABAD BUSINESS CONFERENCE being held in Islamabad on the 13th and 14th of March. The organizers of this conference have offered to expose the delegation to their 800 plus delegates from major commercial and industrial sectors in Pakistan and facilitate B2B during the seminar being held at the prestigious Serena Hotel. A formal invitation has been extended to Mayor Frank Scarpitti to be the keynote speaker at the conference.
The Delegation will avail opportunities to engage in establishing direct contact with relevant corporate and ICT organizations and businesses to explore and offer their products, services and consulting expertise to their counterpart and potential end-users and clients.
The Canadian High Commission in Islamabad has extended complete support in establishing groundwork in Pakistan.
Seeing the growth potential between Canada and Pakistan, Global Affairs Canada has assigned a Full-Time Senior Trade Commissioner: Ms. Margaux McDonald who has recently taken this assignment in Islamabad with consular and trade offices in Lahore and Karachi.
The Pakistan High Commission in Canada is facilitating meetings and presentations with the appropriate Ministries and relevant IT Departments in Pakistan.
The Pakistan High Commission and the three Consulates General across Canada would facilitate the visas for Pakistan.
